Check-in time?

As a rough guide, the check-in time is after 3:00 p.m.
We do early check-in subject to availability. Our front desk staff does their best to check in guests as soon as they arrive at the hotel, but it is not guaranteed that a room will be available earlier than your scheduled check-in time.

Check-out time?

As a rough guide, the check-out time is before 12:00pm.
Late check-out policy :
– Late check-out is subject to room availability
– 12:00 to 17:00 check-out: 50% room rate surcharge
– After 17:00 check-out: 100% room rate surcharge

Which languages are spoken at Reception?

English and Spanish.

Can I leave my luggage?

Yes, we can look after your luggage. If at check in your room is not ready yet or in case of early check out after .We will store your luggage free of charge on your check-in and check-out days.

What is the rate for children in Mansion Alameda?

In Mansion Alameda only children over 12 years old are admitted. The pay same rate as adults.

Internet connection?

We have wireless internet connection throughout the property. The best signal is around the Lobby and the Restaurant. Unfortunately, WiFi remains a bit unreliable in our country. We hope to be able to upgrade to a better connection in the near future.

Which is the nearest airport?

The nearest full-service airport is the José Marti International in Havanna, which is located around 320 km away (4,5 hours by car). There is also the Juan Alberto Gomez airport in Varadero, approximately 270 km away (4 hours by car). The domestic airport of Trinidad is presently not handling regular airlines. Other airports that are connected mainly to the USA are Cienfuegos and Santa Clara.

Is a taxi service available from the airport?

Yes, this service is available on request. When booking this service, please state the flight number for your arrival and/or departure and the relevant times.

Do you have smoking and non-smoking rooms?

All rooms are non-smoking

Is breakfast included in the price?

Yes, a full Caribbean breakfast is offered to all guests staying at the hotel.

What is offered at breakfast?

The breakfast includes toast, natural juices, milk, fresh fruit, ham, cheese, eggs, coffee. Water bottles are not included.

What time is breakfast served?

Breakfast is served from 7am to 10am, every day.

How many floors does the hotel have?

The hotel is built around a courtyard on a single story. In the tower we do have the Sunset Suite. On top of the Suite is the Sunset Rooftop Terrace. The access to the Suite and the Rooftop Sunset Terrace is not recommended to people with a walking disability.

How many rooms does the hotel have?

The Hotel has a total of ten rooms.

Do you have an elevator?

Our Boutique Hotel does not have an elevator, we are more than happy to carry luggage to your room for you.

How many bars does the hotel have?

The hotel has the main bar “El Bar” situated in the main building and it comes with air condition. On the Sunset Rooftop Terrace there is bar open every from 5 pm to 8 pm day to watch the beautiful sunsets. Around the patio there is our Bistro & Lounge “El Patio” as well as the fountain with the traditional Trinitarian rocking chairs. You can order your preferred beverage in all of these locations.

Are there car parking spaces or a car park?

Our hotel has a private car parking.

How much does parking cost?

The car park costs is included in a room rate.

Are pets allowed to stay at the hotel?

No pets allowed.

Are the prices quoted per room or per person?

The prices quoted are always per room

Do you have a restaurant?

Yes, we do have our formal restaurant “La Brasserie” that is located in the main house and the open-air Bistro & Lounge “El Patio”. They are open daily and serve breakfast, lunches and dinner as well as your favorite beverage.

What should I do, if I lost or forgot something in my room?

Please contact the hotel directly. Our rooms will be cleaned daily, so that your item probably has been found by our housekeeping team.

Are the rooms air-conditioned?

Yes, all rooms are air conditioned. In addition each room comes with a tropical ceiling fan.

Are bed linens provided?

Yes. All beds come with a full set of linen which includes bed sheet, duvet and pillows.

Does the Hotel provide additional beds or have extra beds available?

No. The hotel does not provide additional beds.

Does the Hotel provide towels, soap, shampoo, etc?

Yes. All rooms come with basic toiletries which includes soap, shampoo and conditioner.

Do I have to clean my room? Is there housekeeping service?

Yes, housekeeping service is provided daily

Are there safes in the rooms?

Yes, the rooms do have safes available for no charge.

What is the voltage in the hotel?

Cuba is on the same voltage as the US and Canada (110 to 120 volts AC). Our power sockets however also adapt to the standard European voltage of 220 volts. So you don’t need to bring adapters if traveling from there. If traveling from other countries such as Great Britain however you will have to bring adapters. In additions all our rooms have an USB outlet to charge your devices.

Are there hairdryers, irons and ironing boards in the rooms?

Hairdryers are provided in all rooms. Irons and ironing boards can be supplied to you by our housekeeping staff.

Does the Hotel provide a laundry service for guests?

Yes, this service is at an additional charge.

Does my room have a fridge?

No, but we offer a 24-hour service and you can always ask for cool beverages anytime of the day and night in the bar or the night duty manager. If you need to store personal items in the cool, we gladly provide this service at no extra charge. Please ask Front Desk.

How many people can stay in one room?

The Deluxe Doble rooms accommodate up to three adults. The Deluxe Kings, Junior Suites and Sunset Suite accommodate only up to two adults.

Yes, with the exception of the Sunset Suite, all rooms are accessible.

Yes, we can accommodate people with disabilities in all rooms in the main house and around the patio.

Do you offer security at the hotel?

Yes, we have 24/7 security guard and the door and closed monitors cameras.

I want flowers, chocolates, champagne, gifts sent to the room. How do I do this?

Please get in contact with our Front Desk prior to your arrival to set up these services.

Does the hotel recognize special occasions?

Absolutely. At booking, please mention your special occasion so we may enhance your experience with the Mansion Alameda touch. There are also some added values bookable through our website.

What methods of transportation can I take to your hotel?

The fastest and most reliable option is by taxi. You can order your private taxi directly while doing your booking on our website.

How far is the hotel from the town?

The hotel is located in the town of Trinidad in one of the most elegant streets of the city. All important sights are within easy walking distance of only a few minutes.

Does the hotel have a currency exchange?

Yes, we do offer a limited currency exchange for USD / EUR / GBP and CHF to Cuban Pesos (CUP). 

How do I  know if my reservation is confirmed?

We will send you a confirmation email with all of your booking information.

Do you provide concierge services?

Yes, we arrange for dinners reservations, transfers, tours, beach stays, tours and other activities.

Do you charge the credit card when I book the room?

We will charge the total of your reservation to your credit card 15 days before your check in at our Hotel. For non-refundable reservations, your card will be charged the same day you make the reservation.

Is it safe to fill in my credit card number? How secure is the your website?

Your credit card information is sent to us through a secure server. We use the latest, most secure technology available, which encrypts all your personal and credit card details. The encryption method used is the industry standard “Secure Socket Layer” (SSL) technology.
